According to a survey done by The Wall Street Journal it’s known that 80% of what we keep we never use and 80% of what we file never gets looked at again. My goal is to “coach” individuals into decluttering their lives by becoming digitally (or electronically) organized and doing it as efficiently and inexpensively as possible. It’s difficult to declutter your mind unless you start by doing so with your life.
Regardless of where you are in your personal or professional life you probably have a stack of papers on your desk. Pilers are those of you who have “piles” of papers, contracts, drafts, magazines, binders, postcards, post-its, printed emails, recipes, coupons, letters and other items that look like a mess. If that sounds like you then isn’t it time to reach out to the future rather than being trapped in an inefficient past?
What role does paper play in your life? Is it difficult for you to eradicate old, wasteful habits? Are you one of the many that are stubbornly resistant to the efficiencies offered by computerization? If so, is the reason for your resistance because you don’t know where to start? Let’s get together and declutter your life! It’s much easier than you may think.
